One Night (With You)
Written by Dave Bartholomew and Dave King
As recorded by Elvis February 23 1957

Elvis recorded One Night With You in February 1957. A year later, Elvis went into the army. During this time, Elvis was in Germany so his record company began releasing previously recorded tracks. In the US, this came out in 1958; in the UK it was released in 1959. It was Elvis' first song to reach the top of the UK charts after he went into the army.

This was Elvis' last single to be released in the US in the 78 R.P.M. format.
After this, all of his singles in the US were released as 45's. Only England, Canada and other countries continued releasing his singles as 78's for some years after this.
